Always wondered what’s the story behind these
And definitely why Qatar was able to get these and only Qatar got these
I mean, there must be many countries interested in a similar watch
There are not that many LE Tudor out there but somehow Qatar was able to get the black bay AND the pelagos
I’ve been told there were about 3 badges of the black bay, ranging from 75 to 100 per badge
I’m only aware of one badge of the pelagos
The black bay was given to people working for the government I believe and some of them (leftovers?) went to a store in Doha
Not sure about the pelagos but probably similar
