Girard Perregaux: That do not sound strange to my ears

Me the same. Especially i do not set the date on my Omega Seamaster, 300 diver cause it have such a bad reading time display. Omega put it on, but for me they can have skip the complication, like on some Bond editions. Watches that i have without date are easy to say much more easy and i do not mis

Rolex: A strange position on the road

I see a side window and an ugly warning sticker. I can imagine that you do not want this on your Rolls Royce.

TimeOut: Own creation

Faber Castell piaba. An own creation. Not sky blue or turquoise. That is what i see when i see your very affordable good writing fountain pen. Invent a new color, good to see companies and people do that.

A. Lange & Söhne: deployant user

I use deployant, but i have also pin buckles. It depends what i like. Sometimes this and sometimes that. While i am very active, a pin buckle hold my watch very tight. While relaxing, visiting family, to IKEA what so ever, a single deployant.

TimeOut: I am a fool

Wasting ink would make my cloth dirty, so a good rollerball Montblanc is better. I must confess, it feels good in my hand while writing.

Chopard: I have the same opinion as Penfriend

Busy dial. Personally black dials i skip, except Karls Royal Oak and Moser’s Vanta black. But Chopard have a beautiful GMT One in the pocket, available with a brown and black dial. The rosé gold model goes over 10k, so that is over budget.

I make my pictures by phone, and i read sometimes articles about famous photographers. Anton Corbijn the friend of Bono uses a lot Hasselbla

Chopard: Yes Louio

That Chopard do not took the easy way is evidence that they take their work serious. No quick money, but effort and understanding. A real opposite to Rolex if you ask me. Quick cash and get away with it will for the ones that are sensitive for following the fortunate versus the ones that embrace the

Horological Meandering: Let’s give a suggestion

I will give a suggestion for the affordable watch. The 30k i can buy, but i have also a young BMW in mind, that is more important. Ok, to the point. I spoke about an IWC. It can be some from the pilot range, but portugueser, fino, aquatimer, can be a candidate. Let’s do it democratic, my vote for th

Girard Perregaux: That is a moment to get somebody into watches

I have for decades the idea to buy a Rolex, and i own 11 watches now. Always something in the way that do stop it. I think i get faster a Girard Perregaux than a Rolex. I guess many reasons do it for me. Size, strap, movement, price, looks, complications, heritage, and happy about a non image watch
